Cancer is a complex, costly and confusing disease that takes many forms and impacts all aspects of a patient’s life. Cancer also is very prevalent, with approximately 1.8 million new cases diagnosed last year. The average cost of treatment is $150,000--more than 4 times higher than treatment for other common health conditions. Some new cancer treatments exceed $1 million. Cancer also requires care coordination across the entire healthcare continuum.
Employers are searching for effective strategies to ensure access to quality cancer care for employees at an affordable cost, and to support employees throughout the difficult and stressful cancer care journey.
We are pleased to invite you to our 2020 Cancer Care Symposium designed to help employers build a comprehensive and seamless benefits strategy that addresses 3 key aspects of the cancer care journey: Prevention & Early Diagnosis, Cancer Care Coordination, and Caregiving & Survivorship.
